Brian Fasteners produces Titanium Slip-On Flanges in Houston, USA. Flanges are provided for easy installation; they slip onto the pipe and are welded with a fillet. Made of Grade 2 or Grade 5 titanium, they are provided to ASTM/ASME/ANSI standards with accurate machining and traceability. Suitable for low-pressure systems, Titanium slip-on flanges provide weight savings and corrosion resistance, and can be made to custom sizes with quick delivery from the in-house facilities of Brian Fasteners.
Slip-on flanges are constructed of CP Grade 2 or Ti-6Al-4V Grade 5 titanium. Grade 2 provides tensile strength ~345 MPa and elongation ~24%; Grade 5 offers ~860 MPa and ~10% elongation. Both alloys retain their strength between −250 and +400 °C and are resistant to marine and chemical corrosion. These flanges have good weldability and resistance to fatigue under cyclic loading.
